AYDA Awards

The Nippon Student’s Interior Design Competition Malaysia is an annual event hosted by Nippon Paint Malaysia. It is a competition that encourages the creativity and originality of student designers from across the country. The competition is open to all students from the age of 18 and above, with a focus on interior design.

The 2021 edition of the competition was held online due to the ongoing pandemic. The theme for this year was “FORWARD Amplifying Empathy Through Design” and the competition invited students to come up with creative interior designs that focus on how to make our world a better place. The competition was open to all students from any college or university in Malaysia, and the top projects were exhibited on the Asia Young Designer Awards website.

The Nippon Student Interior Design Competition Malaysia is a great platform for students to showcase. This year AYDA Awards 2022  Competition was organized by Nippon Paint in which many students participated in both categories and the award theme was Converge: Pushing The Reset Button.
